The Care Team serves as a way for our body of believers to support fellow Resonate partners in need. Often the strong community built within LifeGroups meets many of these needs organically or partners with Care Team to find more helping hands. You can join the team by filling out the contact form at the bottom of the page. Here are a few ways you can support the church on our team:

Foster care teams are a chance to serve foster families within our church. You may not be in a stage of life where you can be a foster parent, but you can still play a role in caring for kids in foster care. Teams will provide support, prayers, meals, childcare, and any other needs the family may have. Let’s be the body of Christ. Help keep our Love Beyond Walls (LBW) community sink at the new church building in working and welcoming condition! LBW is a nonprofit here in Atlanta that focuses on loving and raising awareness for those experiencing homelessness. At the start of the pandemic, they sought to creatively fill a growing need within this community for access to clean water for hand-washing, etc., with portable sinks. When we purchased our new building, we knew there was already a community of people experiencing homelessness using some of our outdoor spaces, so we decided to partner with LBW to get a sink as a way to begin loving and welcoming, even before we’re officially there. If you are interested in being a part of this with us, please sign up using the link below for a weekend to come by and check to see that the sink is still in good working order, clean, and full of water. Everything you need will be provided to you at the building when you arrive, and it shouldn’t take more than about 10 minutes. Send letters or have your kids make artwork to encourage our elderly friends at Wesley Woods Senior Center. Email outreach@resonateatlanta.org to be matched with a penpal.

Every Tuesday afternoon, Friends of Refugees delivers food boxes to more than 70 families we serve who have suffered a Covid-19 job loss or reduction in hours. Each volunteer is expected to help pack the boxes and then to deliver 5-10 boxes to families who live in the same neighborhood. Sign up here. You will receive an email with further details before your scheduled service date.
