We exist to be a place for all people to know God. You won’t be met with shame, guilt, or condemnation. Our church is made up of imperfect people with every kind of story imaginable.
No matter what you’ve been through, or what questions you might have about God and faith, our church is a place where you’ll find the love, grace, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone.
WHAT IS SUNDAY LIKE?
Our service is about 75 minutes in length.
You’ll notice right away that we love Jesus and we love to worship. There is no formal dress code, so come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. On your way in, enjoy a complimentary beverage at the coffee bar and meet someone from our welcome team. Services begin with our live band leading the church in worship – song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music, one of our pastors will share a life-giving message from the Bible. We then take communion weekly and close with more live music.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We believe that discipleship is for all generations – and at Resonate Kids, we make this a priority. Our kids participate in the first few songs of our main worship services, then head to their classrooms to receive biblical, dynamic teaching every week. Another top priority for us is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our kids service the first time that you visit. You’ll want to give yourself an extra few minutes to get signed in for the kid’s service.
Our middle and high school students join us for the regular Sunday morning service.
WHAT IF I'M NOT USED TO GOING TO CHURCH?
Perfect! We exist for those not here yet! Our gatherings are a safe place for those who are curious about God but have never felt comfortable in church. We want Resonate to be a place where you can learn, apply, and wrestle with who God is and what He wants for you. It’s okay if you don’t have it all figured out yet or feel like you don’t have it all together. Sometimes we say that Resonate is “the perfect church for imperfect people.” Again, all are welcome.
WHAT ARE THE SERMONS LIKE?
We preach the Bible, mostly verse-by-verse and book-by-book. We believe that you’ll find, in the pages of the Bible, a more gripping story and a more satisfying explanation and solution to the troubles of life than the false promise of self-help styled lectures. We’ve also found that preaching this way keeps us from avoiding hard topics and increases our trust in God’s Word to transform lives. Need more info? You can listen to some of our sermons here.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR GUESTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS?
We offer accessible parking, entrances, and seating.
We provide bulletins with large print for those that are visually impaired. Sensory items are available in our Kid’s Ministry lobby for anyone’s use. In our Kid’s ministry, we offer a buddy system for those that are ability or neuro diverse, encouraging those of all abilities to participate in the discipleship at Resonate Kids.
